The room will be available as of 2 p.m. on the day of your arrival. We ask that you check out by 12 noon on the day of departure. When the booking situation allows it, check-in starts at 7 a.m. and check-out should be completed by 11 p.m. Please ask the staff about this on your arrival.

Hotel Seurahuone Helsinki

The room will be available as of 2 p.m. on the day of your arrival. We ask that you check out by 12 noon on the day of departure. Later check-out is only possible when the booking situation allows it and is subject to an additional fee. Hotel Bonus Club members are offered a free-of-charge check-out by 2 p.m. when the booking situation allows it. Please ask the staff about this on your arrival. You can also ask the hotel staff about the possibility of checking in earlier.

Arrival by 4 p.m. or 6 p.m.

The room will be reserved for you until 6 p.m. on the day of your arrival unless you have agreed on a later time of arrival. In the event that you do not arrive by 6 p.m., the hotel will have the right to give the room to another customer. Time of arrival in Hotel Seurahuone in Helsinki is by 4 p.m. A reservation paid in advance will be considered as confirmed in all events and will not expire after 6 p.m. (4 p.m. in Seurahuone).

Arrival after 4 p.m. or 6 p.m.

If you plan to arrive after 6 p.m. (4 p.m. in Seurahuone), we ask that you verify your arrival with a credit card. The hotel will then keep the room reserved for you after 6 p.m. (4 p.m.). If the room has not been cancelled by 6 p.m. (4 p.m.) on the day of arrival and the customer does not arrive at the hotel, the hotel will have the right to charge the customer an amount corresponding to one night's stay in the hotel room. A reservation paid in advance will be considered as confirmed in all events and will not expire after 6 p.m. (4 p.m.).

Method of payment

You can pay in advance in the online booking system with your banking credentials or various credit cards. You can also pay at the hotel with cash or card. Some products require advance payment during booking. Different types of membership and bonus cards are presented in the reservation stage. Regular buyer rates are intended for travelling outside working hours whereupon the accommodation should always be paid for with personal means of payment.

Cancellations

A room reservation can be cancelled free of charge by 6 p.m. (4 p.m. in Seurahuone) on the day of arrival. Some products requiring advance payment will not be reimbursed. Different types of membership and bonus cards are presented in the reservation stage.

Please note! Cancellations regarding Hotel Seurahuone in Helsinki must be made by 4 p.m. A one-night reservation to Cumulus Resort Rukahovi can be cancelled by 6 p.m. the day before. Reservations of more than one night should be cancelled 1 week before arrival. After this, the cancellation fee will be 50% of the value of the reserved package.

A 100% advance payment will be required for Christmas, New Year's and Easter reservations. Cancellations can be made in our booking system or by calling the hotel or Restel reservation centre, tel. +358 20 055 055 (0,17 €/call + 0,81 €/min + mobile or local call charge, or international call charge if you are calling from outside Finland) open 24/7.

Additional fee for those travelling with pets

The additional pet fee in Cumulus City & Resort hotels is EUR 10/night/room and EUR 15/night/room in other hotels. Service, police, detection and rescue dogs are accommodated in Restel hotels free of charge.

Age limit

Rooms can only be reserved by individuals over the age of 18. If a minor travels without a parent or a guardian, the parent or guardian must contact the hotel before the date of arrival. This enables us to ensure that the parent or guardian is aware of the minor's stay at the hotel. A person reserving a room for a minor is responsible for the minor's actions during their stay regardless of whether they are staying in the same room.

Disputes

We always aim to settle any disputes directly with our customers. However, if a dispute cannot be settled directly, you can contact the national consumer rights advisers at a Local Register Office (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi). After this, the case can be forwarded to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi).
